Condition survey
The piece is inspected on arrival. All marks, faults and pre-existing damage are recorded in writing and photographed where relevant. This document stays with the job.
Scope and cost agreed
The proposed work, parts likely needed, and estimated cost are set out clearly. For restoration projects, scope is confirmed stage by stage as the work progresses and reveals more.
Bench work and documentation
The work proceeds according to agreed scope. Parts used, lubrication points and timing results (where applicable) are recorded. At collection, the service document accompanies the piece.
Bracelet & Strap Bench Work
A focused session covering everything that touches the wrist. Link removal and refitting, replacement of stretched or missing pins and screws, clasp re-tensioning, spring bar renewal, and fitting of a leather, rubber or textile strap cut to the exact lug width. Suited to a bracelet that has grown loose over years of wear or a clasp that no longer holds shut reliably.

Chronograph Bench Service
A full service for column-wheel and cam-actuated chronographs. The movement is stripped completely; the chronograph module receives specific attention to coupling geometry and hammer surface condition; lubrication is renewed at each manufacturer-specified point; pusher gaskets are replaced where the case design allows. Written for owners whose sub-dials no longer reset to zero or whose pusher action has become heavy and imprecise.

Clock & Pocket Watch Restoration
A longer project for carriage clocks, mantel clocks, wall regulators and pocket watches. Work may include bushing worn pivot holes, cleaning and re-lubricating the train, adjusting the strike and chime sequence, replacing a suspension spring, refinishing the case wood or metal, and re-glazing. The workshop opens with a written condition survey and photographs; each stage is agreed before it begins. The piece is test-run in-house for two weeks before collection is arranged.

Protocols common to all services
Owner information protection
Contact details and service records are used only for workshop correspondence. Nothing is shared outside of necessary supply-chain contacts.
Calibre-appropriate lubricants
The workshop holds multiple grades of oil and grease. Each is applied only at the point specified for the calibre family — no general-purpose substitutions.
Written intake and service record
Every piece has a written record from arrival to collection. The document is returned to the owner and a copy is held at the workshop for two years.
Direct workshop contact throughout
Owners can call +60 7-291 4638 during opening hours to ask about progress. Questions are answered by the bench team, not a booking service.
No work beyond agreed scope
If an unexpected finding during work suggests additional attention, the owner is contacted for a decision before any extra work proceeds.
Realistic turnaround windows
Turnaround estimates reflect actual bench load. If a delay arises, the owner is notified promptly with a revised date — not left to chase up.
